Andrea Bruce was a staff photographer for the Washington Post from 2002 to 2010 and also wrote a weekly column for the paper, “Unseen Iraq.” She has four times been named Photographer of the Year by the White House News Photographers Association and is a recipient of the John Faber Award from the Overseas Press Club of America.
